Investor Services

Our Investor Services department deals with the administration of paper certificates and over the counter (OTC) transactions.

Paper certificates - Shareholders may sometimes require their paper share certificates to be ‘dematerialised’ into an electronic record – or may require the electronic record to be materialised into paper. The paper process is administratively intensive and our team has the expertise and infrastructure to assist clients with this onerous function.

OTC transactions – Finsettle provides Custody and Settlement services for trade in many unlisted securities. OTC Settlement is a highly specialised process, sometimes manually intensive, and these transactions can often be large in value. It is essential that they must be handled in an orderly and systematic manner. We settle the purchase and sale legs of OTC transactions, either in electronic or certificated format. We also manage the payment of dividends on these instruments during the transfer period, and the delivery of physical certificates within tight time constraints.

The Investor Service is incorporated in our Total Custody and Settlement Outsourcing Service or available as a stand alone option.

Service contract terms

Our services are competitively priced, and based on flexible and appropriately structured contract and service level agreement terms. Contract prices are determined on an accurate assessment of client requirements and consider current and expected volumes, and time related expenses. Our economies of scale enable us to offer clients fair value pricing – this means a personalised tailored pricing policy, rather than a commoditised and singular price.
